U.S. Mission Pakistan is seeking applications from qualified individuals for Security Clerk position in U.S. Consulate General, Lahore.
Basic Function of the Position – The Security Clerk performs a wide range of administrative and management functions as tasked by the Regional Security Officer, Assistant Regional Security Officer and Senior Foreign Service National Investigator (Sr. FSNI). Assigned duties include, but are not limited to, tracking Regional Security Office (RSO) movement schedules, preparing procurement requests for the Regional Security Office, assisting, and coordinating investigative leads among Foreign Service National Investigators (FSNIs), completing and tracking travel authorizations and time & attendance for 19 RSO Locally Employed Staff. Incumbent also facilitates communication and processes, necessary to support Regional Security Office (RSO) operations and relationships with members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan and all police units in the Punjab province.
Qualification Requirements:
Experience: Minimum two (2) years prior secretarial, administrative, or office management experience is required.
Education: Completion of higher secondary school certificate (12 years of education) is required.
Job Knowledge: The incumbent must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Database, typing, and computer applications.
Language: Good working knowledge - Speaking/Reading/Writing in English, Urdu & Punjabi is required. English language skills may be tested.
Skills And Abilities: The incumbent must be able to operate computer software: MS office, Outlook, Database Management. Ability to deal with others and be able to distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information and report facts accurately in a logical, concise, and objective manner. Skills and abilities may be tested.
