Position Objectives

• The primary objective of the Nurse position is to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care and support within Basic Health Unit settings. This role aims to promote patient health and well-being through direct patient care, education, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. By ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care, the Nurse contributes significantly to positive patient outcomes and the overall efficiency of the healthcare team.

• Contributes towards the overall goal and objectives of PRCS & work in align with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Principles.
• Adheres to the Security rules and procedures define in PRCS code of conduct.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by Medical Officer and in accordance with nursing standards.
• Monitor patient conditions, identify changes, and take appropriate actions to address any issues.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Encourage and facilitate patient participation in their own care to promote independence and self-management.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of patient care, including nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures and regulations.
• Adhere to infection-prevention control protocols.

• Provide data and reports to the concern line manager and PHQ when require. Ensure compliance of instructions and orders.
