Relevant Experience:

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
  • Address any issues with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development of procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential procurement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast procurement needs and develop purchasing plans.
  • Monitor and control procurement budgets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service levels.
  • Conduct cost analysis and market research to support procurement decisions.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the procurement process.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost savings.
  • Conduct regular analysis of procurement data to support decision-making.
  • Work closely with the procurement team and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior procurement staff.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.
