Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer

Role Overview: The M&E Officer will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the project’s progress and impact. This includes designing M&E frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• M&E Framework Development:
• Design comprehensive M&E frameworks and logic models.
• Develop detailed M&E plans, including indicators, data collection methods, and timelines.
• Data Collection and Analysis:
• Develop and implement data collection tools (e.g., surveys, questionnaires, focus groups).
• Utilize statistical software (e.g., SPSS, STATA) for data analysis.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis to assess project outcomes.
• Field Monitoring:
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project implementation.
• Collect real-time data and provide feedback for immediate improvements.
• Reporting:
• Prepare detailed M&E reports, including data visualizations and infographics.
• Present findings to stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations.
• Capacity Building:
• Train project staff and partners on M&E tools and methodologies.
• Ensure continuous learning and improvement in M&E practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in M&E, preferably in education or development projects.
• Proficiency in data analysis software.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
