Scope:         Regional Manager will be responsible for managing and enhancing the educational services and operations within the region. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs and services that align with our organizational goals and standards.

Objective of role.

• Manage and oversee all educational operations within a specific geographic region
• Ensuring high standards of education is crucial. Regional managers monitor the quality of teaching, curriculum delivery, student outcomes, and overall educational standards within their region. They may conduct assessments, reviews, and audits to maintain and improve quality.
• Responsible for managing the budget and financial resources allocated to schools in the region. This includes budget planning, allocation of funds, and financial reporting.
• Developing strategic plans for educational growth and improvement in the region is a key objective. This involves setting goals, formulating strategies, and implementing initiatives that align with broader educational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular reports and analysis on regional performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement or expansion.
• Develop and implement regional strategies that align with the organization’s overall objectives and promote growth and sustainability.
• oversee day-to-day operations of educational facilities within the region, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including educational institutions, government bodies, community organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Manage regional budgets and resources effectively to ensure financial sustainability and accountability.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of educational programs and services, implementing improvements as necessary to meet or exceed performance metrics.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain communication with community members and encourage use of community resources where possible to facilitate schools if needed, encourage Principals to keep strong communication with Parents and occasionally attend Parent-Student meetings. Maintain liaison with donor-on-donor related education activities where required.
• Develop clear action plan for struggling schools in the area, implementation and regular follow up to ensure improvement
• Plan and develop strategies for area improvement (through AIP) clearly linked to whole school and area improvement.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
