Job Purpose

To perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, support clinical diagnosis, and ensure high-quality imaging services for patients in hospital and community healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound scans (abdomen, pelvis, obstetric, and general imaging).
• Interpret ultrasound results and prepare accurate diagnostic reports.
• Assist physicians in diagnosis and patient management.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures.
• Maintain proper records of all scans and reports.
• Follow infection control and clinical safety protocols.
• Coordinate with medical and nursing staff for patient care.
• Participate in field health camps and outreach activities when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• MBBS with Diploma in Medical Ultrasound / FCPS Radiology (or relevant qualification).
• Valid PMDC registration.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in ultrasound/diagnostic imaging.
• Experience in OB/GYN, abdominal, and general ultrasound preferred.
