Field Validation Assistant

REPORTING LINE

Field Validators report to the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct household back checks based on based exclusively on randomly generated sample lists provided by the M&E Officer
• Verify whether the reported NCD follow-up visit (hypertension, diabetes and MNCH) occurred at the household level
• Confirm basic services reportedly delivered (e.g., follow-up visit, counseling, referral advice)
• Cross-check household recall against reported data

• Follow the field visit verification list exactly as provided without any form of judgment-based or purposive selection
• Not substitute sampled households unless officially authorized

• Record verification outcomes accurately and objectively
• Submit completed back-check forms within the specified timeframe

DURATION & LEVEL OF EFFORT

• Full-time field verification of targeted Households
• Number of back checks assigned is based on random sample size, not field convenience and determined by the M&E Officer

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Minimum Requirements

• Intermediate or bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, or related field
• Prior experience in field data collection or verification using data collection softwares such as ODK, SurveyCTO etc.
• Ability to conduct household interviews independently
