 About This Role

We seek a visionary education leader to translate strategy into disciplined, compassionate execution across all our schools. This role serves as the bridge between strategic intent and delivery — ensuring transition strengthens READ Foundation's educational core while elevating quality, building leadership depth, and embedding enduring accountability systems.

 Key Responsibilities

1. Programme Leadership & Quality Assurance (50%)

  • Own and lead the implementation of READ Foundation's education quality framework across all schools.
  • Establish data-informed review routines (termly, annual) to drive improvement.
  • Standardise curriculum, assessment, and co-curricular practices.
  • Identify what works, what underperforms, and what to strengthen, redesign, pilot, or scale.
  • Engage with the Board and Education & Tarbiya Committee on Strategic Roadmap 2050.

2. Operational Management (20%)

  • Oversee planning, budgeting, infrastructure, staffing, and academic performance.
  • Streamline admissions, examinations, teacher deployment, and child safeguarding policies.

3. People & Capacity Building (15%)

  • Lead, coach, and manage central and regional education teams.
  • Design professional development pathways for principals and teachers in instructional leadership and Tarbiya-focused pedagogies.

4. Policy, Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement (10%)

  • Ensure compliance with national regulations and partner requirements.
  • Liaise with government bodies, accreditation councils, and civil society.
  • Represent READ Foundation in education forums and policy consultations.

5. Reporting (5%)

  • Produce quarterly dashboards for the CEO, Board, and Education & Tarbiya Committee.

 Candidate Profile

Essential

  • Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Management Sciences, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in senior education leadership (school systems or multi-site operations).
  • Proven ability to manage multi-site education operations with demonstrated impact on learning outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of school improvement, quality assurance, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Experience in budgeting, performance management, operational review, and strategic planning.
  • Understanding of edtech integration and digital transformation.
  • Demonstrated success in organisational transformation or system strengthening.
  • Strong track record of building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams.
