Job Overview
The Speech Therapy Fellow will provide professional speech and language therapy services to patients with communication, swallowing, and speech disorders. The role involves assessment, planning, and implementation of evidence-based therapy programs, as well as monitoring patient progress and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for speech, language, and swallowing disorders

Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home practice exercises

Collaborate with doctors, audiologists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals

Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, ethical standards, and best practices

Participate in case discussions, workshops, and professional development sessions
Requirements

Strong knowledge of speech and language therapy techniques

BS (04 years) in Speech and Language Therapy / Pathology or equivalent from a university recognized/equivalent by the Higher Education Commission

Age Limit: 24 to 35 Years

Ability to assess and treat a variety of communication and swallowing disorders

Excellent patient handling and counseling skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Strong documentation and reporting capabilities

Experience in clinical or hospital based speech therapy
