Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to Field Coordinators on CBP planning, outreach strategies, community structures, and engagement methodologies.
  • Ensure CBP activities align with approved workplans, targets, and indicators.
  • Identify implementation gaps, risks, and best practices, and propose corrective actions to the Programme Manager.

2. Supervision & Support to Field Coordinators

  • Serve as the first coordination and support focal point for Field Coordinators on CBP-related matters.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings with Field Coordinators for planning, progress review, and issue resolution.
  • Review field-level CBP workplans, activity schedules, and reports for quality and coherence.
  • Provide hands-on support to Field Coordinators in addressing operational or community-level challenges affecting CBP delivery.

3. Quality Assurance & Technical Standards

  • Ensure CBP activities adhere to protection principles, Do No Harm, Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), and safeguarding standards.
  • Support standardisation and roll-out of CBP tools, SOPs, guidance notes, and reporting formats.
  • Monitor the quality of community engagement, OV management, community structures, and awareness activities across field offices.

4. Coordination with Other Pillars

  • Coordinate closely with Case Management, MHPSS, and GBV pillars to ensure:
    • Effective referrals
    • Integrated service delivery at the community level
  • Support Field Coordinators in managing cross-pillar coordination

5. Reporting, Data & Programme Monitoring

  • Review and consolidate CBP-related inputs from field offices for internal programme reviews and donor reporting.
  • Coordinate with the IM/Data team to ensure CBP indicators, dashboards, and gender-disaggregated data are accurately captured and narrated.
  • Analyse CBP trends, community feedback, and emerging protection concerns and escalate critical issues to the Programme Manager.
  • Assist the Programme Manager in all reporting requirements.

6. Capacity Building & Team Support

  • Identify capacity gaps among Field Coordinators and CBP staff.
  • Support the orientation of new Field Coordinators and CBP staff on CBP approaches, tools, and organisational standards.
  • Promote peer learning and good practices across field offices.

7. Representation & Coordination

  • Participate in CBP-related coordination meetings, workshops, and engagements as delegated by the Programme Manager.
  • Support programme visits, donor missions, and internal reviews related to CBP activities when required.

Other Duties

  • Perform any other duties related to the position, as reasonably assigned by the Supervisor, in line with organisational policies and operational requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of progressive experience in protection programming, or humanitarian work.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating or supervising field teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of CBP approaches, community mobilisation, AAP, and referral mechanisms.
  • Experience working with refugees or vulnerable communities in Pakistan.
  • Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to field offices.

Policies & Compliance
