Position Summary
The Justice Hub Lawyer provides frontline legal advice and representation to clients of the Justice Hub. The role ensures high-quality, timely, and client-centered legal services in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities

Conduct 30–45 minute client consultations, provide written next steps, and log advice in the Case Management System (CMS).

Deliver legal advice within 2 hours of case intake.

Prepare legal documents, petitions, and track cause-lists.

Represent clients in court, ensuring timely filings (first filing within 5 days).

Provide client updates after each hearing.

Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding protocols.

Keep comprehensive CMS records for all actions and case stages.
Manage Litigation Data:

Record client interview information accurately.

Complete online client interview and case intake forms for approval.

Prepare and file cases/representations efficiently.
Advocacy & Legal Drafting:

Draft concise, clear, and error-free legal documents.

Conduct thorough legal research.
-
Represent clients in courts daily, avoiding unnecessary adjournments or delays.

Maintain case files as per organizational by-laws.
-
Uphold strong ethical and moral standards in and out of court.

Compile success stories and report to the Communications team.
Ethics, Professional Conduct & Client Relations:

Maintain professional relationships with clients, providing timely updates.

Guide clients on the organization’s complaint mechanisms.

Demonstrate a positive attitude toward work and the office environment.
Requirements
-
LL.B. degree from a HEC-recognized university with a valid license to practice law.

Enrollment as an Advocate with the Bar Council.

Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in litigation and/or legal aid.

Good Standing Certificate from the Bar Council (issued within one month of application).

Adequate knowledge of Pakistani laws, legal procedures, and IT systems.

Strong skills in drafting, legal research, case management, and client counseling.

Familiarity with gender-sensitive and child protection protocols.

Excellent communication skills.
