Job Overview

The NLE Editor is responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting and digital distribution. This material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects. You will work closely with the Videographer and Creative Lead to achieve a specific look and feel for educational and corporate videos.

Responsibilities

• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film/video according to a script or storyboard.

• Audio Post-Production: Select and insert music, dialogue, and sound effects; perform audio cleaning and leveling to ensure high-quality sound.

• Perform basic color correction and grading to maintain visual consistency across different shots and lighting conditions.

• Create and integrate lower-thirds, intro/outro animations, and call-to-action overlays using software like After Effects or built-in NLE tools.

• Export videos in various formats optimized for social media (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn), high-definition presentations, and internal archives.

• Reorder and fine-tune the "pacing" of videos to keep the audience engaged, especially for instructional or training content.

• Maintain a systematic backup and archive of project files, raw assets, and final renders.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS/I.Com).

• 01 year Diploma in Video Editing or Digital Media Production from a recognized institute.

• At least 01 year of professional experience in a post-production house, YouTube channel management, or corporate media unit.

• Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop is a major plus.

• Age Limit: 18 – 30 years.

• The ability to understand "the story" and edit footage to enhance the message.

• Frame-perfect cutting and a keen eye for subtle audio/video glitches.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict delivery timelines.

• Knowledge of codecs, frame rates, and hardware configurations to optimize editing performance.
