Medical Manager

Normeca International AS is operating an innovative healthcare project in Pakistan, the “Mobile Multi-Diagnostic Clinic / Mini Hospital,” in collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This project involves state-of-the-art mobile clinics, housed in large, fully-equipped trailers, designed to deliver essential healthcare services directly to communities in the KPK and Sindh regions. Each mobile clinic supports a range of general diagnostic services and minor surgical procedures. In addition to advanced medical equipment, the units are designed with comprehensive facilities, including kitchens, laundry, dining areas, and conference rooms, ensuring complete functionality and comfort for medical teams and patients alike. Through this project, Normeca International AS is committed to enhancing healthcare accessibility and delivering high-quality care to underserved areas.

Are you passionate about providing accessible healthcare to underserved communities? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Medical Manager to oversee our Mobile Medical Units (MMUs). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical care and engaging with community stakeholders to address local health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage MMUs schedules in cooperation with the Clinic Managers and Country Manager.
  • Coordinate locations and timing of services to maximize coverage and accessibility.
  • Ensure all medical services meet established standards of care.
  • Implement protocols to maintain high-quality patient care and safety measures.
  • Conduct training sessions on first aid, clinical procedures, patient care, and equipment use.
  • Implement safety protocols and emergency response training.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for community stakeholders, including local health authorities.
  • Engage with community leaders to understand health needs and develop outreach strategies to inform the community about available services.
  • Promote MMU services through public relations efforts.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of MMU services and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement new programs based on community feedback and health data analysis.
  • Ensure services are culturally sensitive and address concerns related to treatments, including alternatives to animal-derived medications.

Qualifications:

  • Medical background (MD, RN, or equivalent healthcare professional) with management experience.
  • Strong organizational and logistical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in community outreach and engagement.
  • Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and best practices.
