Job Description

Position Objective:

A non-profit organization is hiring an X-ray Technician. To perform day-to-day field-based X-ray activities effectively and professionally, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services in support of project operations, while adhering strictly to the established chain of command and reporting directly to the Supervisor or designated representative under the authority of the Head of the Organization.

Core Responsibilities:

• Carry out ACF screening activities using an AI-enabled portable X-ray machine.
• Operate and manage the mobile X-ray unit effectively and responsibly.
• Remain fully present during ACF activities to deliver portable X-ray services to beneficiaries.
• Conduct TB screening of patients during ACF activities in the assigned districts.
• Ensure the portable X-ray equipment remains functional and in good working condition at all times.
• Clearly explain the procedure to patients and obtain their verbal consent prior to conducting the screening.
• Prepare patients appropriately for the X-ray screening process.
• Ensure high-quality X-ray services by properly explaining the procedure and positioning patients accurately.
• Communicate and coordinate with the Mobile X-ray Unit Supervisor regarding any technical concerns or equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all X-rays performed, including corresponding AI scores.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Educational Requirements & Skills:

• At least intermediate or equivalent relevant discipline.
• Diploma in imaging technology/ X-ray technician from a recognized institute.
• 2-3 years’ experience of working under renowned radiologist.
• Experience of Artificial Intelligence with Xray machine will be preferred.
• Must have experience of performing X-rays on latest digital Xray machines.
• Good computer skills.
• Capacity to work individually and within a team.
