Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) will be an added advantage
- 5–10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in public or development sector
- Strong knowledge of procurement laws, policies, and procedures
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes (planning, sourcing, tendering, evaluation, and contract award)
- Prepare and review tender documents, RFPs, RFQs, and bid evaluations
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, rules, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., PPRA rules if applicable)
- Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify reliable vendors
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve best value
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders
- Monitor contract performance and ensure timely delivery of goods/services
- Manage procurement budgets and cost control measures
- Lead and supervise procurement staff (if applicable)
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Handle audits and ensure transparency and accountability in procurement processes
