Reports to:Project Manager;
Technical Supervisor: Regional Manager Logistics and Security
Role and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Project Manager and technical guidance of the Regional Manager Logistics and Security, the Logistics Officer will be responsible for the following:

Prepare and update supplier contracts, office and warehouse leases, vehicle rental and fuel agreements, and related field-office records.

Provide timely logistics support to the project team for planned activities and field operations.

Coordinate procurement and logistics activities, ensuring proper use of resources and compliance with CESVI procedures.

Supervise warehouse operations, warehouse staff, stock records and supporting documents.

Arrange day-to-day logistics support for staff and field activities.

Review and process requests for goods and services, including office supplies, in line with CESVI Pakistan procurement procedures.

Check specifications, quality and quantities of goods and services, and ensure timely delivery to the intended users.

Coordinate with the Logistics Manager to arrange transport, storage and logistics support for distributions to flood-affected families in Sindh.

Supervise assigned drivers, vehicle movements and daily transport arrangements.

Maintain updated asset records and handover forms for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners and other office equipment; coordinate basic IT equipment support.

Prepare and submit complete monthly payment documents on time, including goods received notes, purchase approvals, invoices and acceptance record and routine utility bills.

Maintain accurate records and monthly reports for distributions, ongoing activities, warehouse stock and assets.

Maintain good knowledge of Mirpur Khas and Umarkot, nearby districts, local suppliers, transport routes and field conditions.

Supervise support staff, security guards and cleaners, and monitor their work.

Arrange routine maintenance of the office and team house, including utilities, repairs and essential services.

Monitor inventory, vehicle fuel use and logistics records across field locations, and submit monthly reports using CESVI systems.

Carry out other related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance/Audit or a related field.

Experience:
At least Five years of relevant experience in logistics or procurement, preferably with a UN agency, INGO or NGO on Senior Logistics role.

Competencies:
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Good communication skills and ability to work with staff, partners, government offices, donors and other stakeholders.
Practical problem-solving skills and flexibility in changing field conditions.
Professional conduct, sound judgment and a respectful approach to others.
Ability to represent CESVI professionally in meetings with officials and partners.

Technical Skills:
Good working knowledge of MS Office. Strong written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of Sindhi is preferred.
Contract Duration
One year (extendable).
Salary Range
PKR 125,000 per month, depending on relevant experience.
