Purpose
Under the supervision of the Senior Admin and Finance Manager, the Sr. IT Officer will lead the organization’s information management, data management, reporting, digital systems, and day-to-day IT support. This role serves as the primary technical point of contact, ensuring uninterrupted digital tools for headquarters and national programs while optimizing costs within assigned budgets.

Key Responsibilities
1. IT Infrastructure & Network Administration
- Manage and configure computer hardware, software installations, peripherals, and network systems.
- Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting for computers, printers, internet/connectivity, software, email, Microsoft Office, online meetings, and other technology.
- Serve as the escalation tier for technical troubleshooting across the country team, providing remote helpdesk support through tools such as MS Teams.
- Coordinate with Inspire Pakistan’s Regional and Field Office IT teams and service providers on IT and technology requirements.
2. User Support & IT Systems
- Provide technical helpdesk support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Train and support staff in the use of IT tools and relevant systems.
- Provide IT support during audits and internal/external reviews.
- Assist the Procurement Team in developing technical specifications for computer hardware and digital tool tenders.
3. Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace & User Access
- Oversee organization-wide identity management through Microsoft 365 Admin Center or Google Workspace, including user configuration, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and software licensing.
- Administer user accounts, credentials, access levels, and security protocols.
- Maintain cloud-based file directories and establish appropriate access permissions for sensitive organizational and project data.
4. Data & Information Management
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, Excel trackers, databases, charts, and information products.
- Oversee data management, routine file backups, secure data transfer, and database maintenance.
- Ensure secure and organized electronic and physical information systems, including confidentiality, data protection, access control, and regular backups.
5. IT Asset Management
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, software, digital assets, and user access.
- Track laptops, SIMs, network equipment, and other IT assets assigned to different programs and offices.
6. Attendance & Leave Records
- Maintain biometric attendance records for all Head Office staff.
- Coordinate with HR to update leave balances on a weekly basis.
- Maintain, update, and share leave records with HR on a monthly basis.
Key Tools / Technical Skills
- Power BI – dashboards, data visualization and reporting
- MS Excel – advanced data management, analysis, PivotTables, formulas and reporting
- MS Office / Microsoft 365 – Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Database/MIS systems – data entry, validation, reporting and record management
- Basic IT troubleshooting, hardware/software support, networking and digital security
Other Duties
- Perform any other duties related to the position, as reasonably assigned by the Supervisor or relevant Head Office units, in line with organizational policies and operational requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Management, MIS, Data Management, Statistics, or a related field;
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Information Management, IT, data management, or a similar role, preferably with an NGO/humanitarian, refugee, education, or donor-funded programme.
- Proficient administration of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams).
- Demonstrated experience with Excel, data analysis, dashboards, and digital reporting systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and travel to project locations when required.
