Job Summary

Marie Adelaide Leprosy Centre (MALC) is seeking skilled and experienced Vocational Training Instructors to provide practical training in Sewing, Cutting, Embroidery & Handicrafts and help participants develop skills for employment and income generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical training in sewing, cutting, stitching, embroidery, and handicrafts.
• Teach basic and advanced sewing and garment-cutting techniques.
• Demonstrate different embroidery, handwork, and handicraft techniques.
• Guide trainees in creating quality garments, embroidered items, and handicraft products.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions and practical demonstrations.
• Assess trainees’ progress and provide guidance for skill improvement.
• Maintain trainee attendance and basic training records.
• Support trainees in developing skills for income generation and self-employment.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of training materials and equipment.

Qualification & Experience

• Relevant skills, training, or certification in Sewing, Cutting, Embroidery & Handicrafts.
• Strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience in the relevant skills.
• Previous experience as a vocational trainer/instructor will be preferred.
• Good communication and teaching skills.
• Ability to work effectively with community-based trainees.
