Evaluate Medico Legal is a leading provider of independent medico-legal assessment and reporting services. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our growing team and support the preparation of high-quality medico-legal reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe medico-legal audio recordings into accurate, professionally formatted reports.
• Interpret and transcribe complex medical terminology across a range of clinical specialties with a high level of accuracy.
• Proofread, edit, and quality-check transcripts to ensure grammatical, formatting, and factual consistency.
• Cross-reference medical information to maintain accuracy and completeness of reports.
• Translate verbal medical dictations into precise written documentation using standardized medical terminology.
• Maintain and organize digital transcript records, ensuring secure storage, easy retrieval, and compliance with confidentiality and data protection requirements.
• Meet turnaround times while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal quality assurance and administrative teams to resolve transcription queries and ensure report accuracy.
• Handle sensitive patient and medico-legal information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

• Previous experience in medical transcription is required.
• Medico-legal transcription experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong listening, typing, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and general computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
