Job Description:

• Design the stratified sampling framework, accounting for detectability 
• Estimate encounter rate, density, population size, detection probability, occupancy with confidence intervals 
• Model extrapolation of populations to Key Biodiversity Hotspots with uncertainty 
• Model validation (AUC, TSS, cross-validation) and significance of habitat variables  
• Deliverables 4, 7, 8; hand over reproducible scripts and datasets

Required Experiance: 

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional/research experience
• Ecological statistics; population modelling
• Regression/modelling; detection probability
• Occupancy/distance sampling 
• Statistical extrapolation and uncertainty estimation

Required Qualification: 

• PhD/MPhil/MS in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science or related field
