Relevant Experience & Qualification:

• Master/ Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Agriculture/ marketing or related field, 
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in agricultural crop maximization project, seed industry or food industry.  
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work team members, be self‐motivated, show initiative, and work productively as part of a team.
•  Excellent oral and written English language skills. 

Job Description:

We are recruiting a social organizer for an anticipated commercialization of Bio Fortified Crop (CBC) project for Multan and Khanewal. Social organizers specific duties include but are not limited to:  

• Identification of progressive and subsistence farmers who are interested in the Zinc Wheat growing this season
• Identification of the Zinc Wheat seed retailers and millers to link them with the identified farmers for aggregation of BZW in both the project district i.e., Multan & Khanewal
• Conduction of awareness sessions with value chain actors, millers [Beepers, Retailers, Market Associations, Miller Associations, Chamber of commerce, seed companies
• On farm training of identified Progressive & semi subsistence farmers on the segregation of the Zinc
• Clustering of the identified farmers for the grain aggregation in both the project district i.e., Multan & Khanewal.
