Jhpiego, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University is implementing Group Antenatal Care in Pakistan, as part of the Antenatal/Postnatal Research Collective (ARC).  Jhpiego seeks suitable candidates for the position of M&E Officer with following key responsibilities:

• Coordinate with district and health facility managers for development of mechanism for data collection on tools
• Facilitate technical team in orienting facility staff in data recording and reporting guidelines
• Conduct the monitoring visits to observe health facility systems as per set standards and protocols and validate- data against standard indicators in the data collection tools and DHIS forms
• Prepare field visit monitoring reports and hold debrief meetings with facility and project managers
• Support in review and finalization of database finalization as per the standard tools Ensure that project information is captured well in hard copies and entered into database. On monthly bases run data quality checks for the availability of error free data.
• Joint reviews for data quality checks with facility managers to identify gaps and conduct on the job coaching
• Accompany project technical staff for health facility visits to ensure that monitoring checklists are filled properly and action plans are developed & implemented.
• Improvise data tables and graphs better visualization of data for pause and reflect meetings with district staff.
• Follow up on suggestions / required actions to be taken and share with managers to update the status of activities.
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

• Bachelors’ degree in Public Health, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, or Management
• Should have at least 5 years’ experience with 3 years specific experience at a similar position.
• Must have excellent working knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of databases will be considered as plus point.
• 50% of time required to spend in the field.
• Should be able to develop project results reports.
• Good observational and interpersonal communication skills
• Capacity to interact with managers at different levels to ensure understanding of key findings.
• The candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently and respond to queries in a timely manner
• Covid vaccination certificate would be desirable as per government protocols.
