Role overview

As a member of MYRP ECW team, the Business Development Manager will be responsible to lead the resource mobilization for Multiyear Resilience Program funded by Education Cannot Wait (ECW).

CVs will be assessed on 'rolling basis' and shortlisting could be done earlier than the application 'closing' date.

Skills, qualifications and experience

Essential:
Knowledge/qualifications:
• Master’s degree in social sciences or related areas preferred
• Knowledge of International Development sector and Donors landscape in Pakistan

Experience:
• Experience of 10 years plus in developing funding strategies, delivering income against targets
• Experience of preparing compelling high-quality documentation (concept notes, presentations, proposals, budgets, reports, etc.) for different donors and partner audiences.
• Proven track record in coordinating winning donor proposals for donors including USAID, EC, FCDO, corporate sector etc.
• Familiarity with M&E tools; theories of change, monitoring frameworks, and basic evaluation techniques.
• Knowledge of operating environment, Pakistan’s development issues, trends, social, economic and environmental context with thematic understanding in the area of inclusive education, youth engagement, livelihood, social inclusion and gender, social accountability and resilience.
• Experience of establishing and cultivating strong donor relationships that have delivered substantially increased income
• Excellent representational skills, relationship building for influence with substantial experience of networking with a diverse range of stakeholders, including at senior levels.
