Aga Khan Health Services, Pakistan is looking for a seasoned and dynamic invites application for the Home Health and Screening Team Coordinator position for Karachi Community Program.

The incumbent will be responsible for coordination or coordinating the providing basic health services. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct or coordinate the supportive services and facility management functions of the region.
  • Ensure home visits of all home-based vaccinations.
  • make rounds with the assistant manager and participates in family sessions
  • arrange individual and group teachings regarding long-term management issues.
  • coordinate and organizes the storage of vaccinations for patients and families
  • coordinate with Wearhouse for shipment of vaccinations to health centers of Karachi.
  • Maintain service, transport, vaccinations, screening programs, community health campaigns, and school health camps in log books
  • participate actively in imparting patients/ family education and support
  • work as a resource person for patients and their families and clinicians
  • assist clinicians in outpatient areas in performing clinics and takes detailed patient and family history.

Education, Experience & Competencies

  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited school
  • valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
  • minimum two years of experience as a clinical nurse or equivalent (community health experience preferred)
  • certification in Basic Life Support, safe medication administration, I/V cannulation, NRP, ECG interpretation, and aseptic techniques
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • willingness to do work in different stations and travel needed within Karachi.
  • Shifts will be morning and evening.
