Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a seasoned and dynamic invites application for the Project Coordinator - Chitral position for Chitral Region. The incumbent will be responsible to monitor field activities with relevant field staff to ensure project activities, deliverables and their timelines are met as per the project plan.
Close coordination and facilitation within the project limitations will have its positive impact upon the project implementation. Other departments like DC office through DoH (if and when required) needs effective liaison to avoid miss understandings about the project interventions.
Key Responsibilities and tasks of Project Coordinator
- Monitor field activities with relevant field staff to ensure project activities, deliverables and their timelines are met as per the project plan.
- Supervise and ensure coordination between frontline workers and data collectors and provide guidance to ensure that the mobile application is being used and all the relevant data is being entered in, as per requirements.
- Coordinate with field workers and ensure all the issues identified are resolved.
- Monitor activities of the field team to ensure proper implementation and coordinate and oversee execution of project data collection activities.
- Serve as a liaison with field staff and supervisors.
- Perform required tasks to ensure live and offline data is synced with central server.
- Execute any other task assigned by your supervisor.
- Monitor the periodic collection of data from the mobile phones of field workers (completed by Data Collectors).
- Supervise and ensure communication of the updates and issues to field supervisors and Digital Health Resource Centre’s team on a regular basis.
- Plan, organise and manage periodic surveys, as per the project’s defined M&E framework.
- Coordinate with Government departments as per need and necessity of the project.
Education, Experience & Competencies
- Bachelors or Masters (preferable)
- 2-3 years’ work experience in a similar role
- Basic knowledge and experience of the use mobile phones/technologies
- Experience of managing fields teams
- Sensitivity to cultural differences
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent team player
- Good communication and interpersonal Skills
- Resilience and ability to cope with work pressure
- Ability to speak and understand local languages: Khowar
