Summary of the Position

Many of DAI’s legacy systems, including its project information management system used around the globe, are undergoing a strategic transition to new platforms that will support DAI’s strategy to become a data-enabled, cloud-first organization. This reflects the continuing technological change and our clients’ increased data collection, reporting, and integration demands. To help achieve this digital transformation, DAI would like to transform into an Agile organization.

DAI’s Current Technology stack includes, but is not limited to, Oracle ERP, Azure Cloud, MS 365/.Net (including Dynamics, Power App, and Power BI), SharePoint, HCL Notes/Domino, and a variety of EUCs.

The Microsoft 365 Engineer will maintain DAI’s Microsoft 365 tenant. The team is seeking an individual who is focused on delivery, is a continuous learner, is passionate about IT, and loves their work. This position will report to the Manager, Collaboration Services.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain DAI’s Microsoft 365 tenant.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including changes & updates, roadmap & releases, and third-party solutions.
  • Provide continual advanced level support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 services and Azure Active Directory (AD).
  • Manage DAI-specific system and procedural changes for Microsoft 365 services.
  • Document system configurations, standards, and procedures.
  • Identify issues, lead discussions, provide solutions and documentation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and audit tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Requirements

  • P5: College degree and minimum 4 years relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • At least 2 years of solid experience in IT systems support.
  • At least 2 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
  • Excellent PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and self-sufficient
  • Strong business writing and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies
  • Able to effectively manage and mentor technology development teams.
  • Self-directed with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks/competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • Able to work as part of a decentralized team with minimal oversight.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability tailor communication style to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization and external clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Able and willing to adjust work schedule, if needed, to support teams located in different time zones/countries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working on data loss prevention, archiving, eDiscovery and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Microsoft Intune.
  • Demonstrated experience in setting up and managing Microsoft Cloud App.
  • Demonstrated familiar with agile methodology.
  • Hold certifications related to Microsoft cloud technologies.
