Development of Public Service video Messages on Child Protection

BACKGROUND

Search For Justice, is a Non-Government Organization working for protecting children from violence, abuse, exploitation, harmful practices as well as promoting online safety through multi-dimensional interventions. Keeping in view the significance of preventing children from all forms of violence and abuse Search for Justice is working closely with teachers, parents, community members, youth groups, Civil Society Organizations to make sure that the adults in surrounding of the children are equipped with appropriate information, knowledge and skills to help in making children aware about their own protection. The organization is also directly working with different groups of children to make sure that every child is safe, secure and protected.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CONSULTANCY

The purpose of soliciting the consultancy is to produce 5 video Public Service Messages on different aspects of child protection. Renowned media celebrityshould be engaged to record the messages for parents and/ or children on protecting children from violence, abuse, exploitation and harmful practices. With this view Search for Justice is looking fora company/firm/individual who could provide the services for the development of high-quality video Public Service Messagesmessages to be disseminated through TV/ You Tube channel and/ or social media.

DURATION OF THE CONSULTANCY:

Anticipated start date of the assignment would be 10^th October 2022 and the assignment should be complete by or before 20^th October 2022.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF CONSULTANT

The Consultant will work closely with SFJ team for accomplishment of following task;

ü  To hold preparatory discussion with SFJ team to understand the rational for development of video message

ü  Will prepare the script of video messages and get them approved by the Search for Justice.

ü  Will identify and arrange the media celebrity to record his/her messages

ü  Will translate the Urdu messages to into English to be used as sub titles in the video messages 

The consultant will sign and ensure compliance of Child Safeguarding Policy and Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Policy of Search for Justice.

DELIVERABLES

• Submission of 5 final edited version (complete in all aspects) of Public Service MessagestoSearch for Justice with subtitling in English
• Duration of each Public Service Messages could be 45 seconds to 1 minute in general and more in case where needed
• Will share the High-Resolution versions of the Public Service Messages to be aired on TV Channels (Included the L Shape) and low-resolution versions to be used at Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
• Will share the raw footage with Search for Justice in a pen drive

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The consultant/ firm/ company are required to fulfil the following criteria:

• Having previous experience to produce video documentaries, short films and/ or Public Service Messages especially on the issue of child protection
• The individual consultant/ firm must have expertise in video recording, editing and production
• Ability to follow the timeline and rigorous communication with the project team
• Able to provide a list along with complete contact details (Contact number and Official e mail) of previous clients (minimum 2)

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Technical and Financial proposals shall be having a weight 50% and 50% respectively. The proposal found lowest and technical compliance will be accepted.

MODE OF PAYMENT

Payment will be made in two installments through cross cheques. 50% payment will be made in advance after signing the contract and remaining 50% will be made after successful submission of required document and presentation.

Payment will be made after deduction of applicable tax as per rules and regulations of Government of Pakistan.
