Qualification:

Bachelors / Masters in Petroleum / Mechanical Engineering / Geophysics / Geology / Geosciences or equivalent from a reputable institute.

Experience:

Minimum 25 years of progressive post qualification experience inclusive of 10 years relevant senior management experience with reputed E&P or oilfields services provider relevant to drilling operations or well services like drilling fluids engineering or cementation / stimulation in upstream oil and gas sector.

The potential candidate should possess excellent experience in the following areas, which shall also form the core responsibilities for the position:

• Proven track record of leading and managing drilling and workover operations including drilling and completion of oil and gas wells / and or remedial drilling jobs, both performed by the Company as well as contractors’ personnel.
• Coordinate and lead drilling and completion activities in accordance with approved programs, established best oilfields practices, relevant standards and Company policies.
• Identification of critical issues, drilling challenges and implementation of new concepts in drilling operations.
• Management of drilling rig schedules, setting drilling objectives and ensuring implementation of best drilling and completion engineering techniques.
• Actively implement industry best practices as part of an efficient well delivery process leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Management of personnel, equipment, materials and safety at all rig site operations.
