JOB PURPOSE:

To monitor and evaluate the program/project activities in the intervention areas of Sindh, ICT and GB. Take lead in the desk review, data validation, field monitoring and evaluation and assist the program team in developing templates for record keeping through Means of Verification (MoVs). Track and report the progress according to the set indicators and document the output, outcome and impact of the project/program. Provide technical feedback to the program team for implementation of the activities and ensure proper data management. He/She shall be responsible for publicizing the project achievements and impact in the form of case studies, articles etc.

He/ She must be resourceful and must have technical expertise of Monitoring and Evaluation specially in data analysis. He/ She should have professional approach and behavior to communicate with diversified teams and stakeholders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General Responsibilities:

  • Work on Data Entry, Data Cleaning, Data Analysis, Data Representation and Data Dissemination.
  • Field monitoring visits of multiple projects
  • Prepare monitoring reports
  • Update M&E Presentations on regular basis
  • Update Monitoring Visits Log Dashboard
  • Fill Pre-Post Test from training participants and share analysis report
  • Fill Training Evaluation form from training participants and share analysis report
  • Update Indicators Tracking Sheets on monthly basis
  • Assisting in designing of M&E plan and forms to monitor the activities.
  • Track the activities according to the M&E plan and share progress report.
  • Ensure timely verification of the sources/means against each indicator through indicators tracking sheet or any other tool.
  • Ensure timely followup of the actions planned by the program team.
  • Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures.
  • Assist the M&E Specialist in preparing reports relevant to the project.
  • Conduct meetings and debriefing sessions with the Program Manager, M&E Specialist recod minutes of the meeting.
  • Maintain and compile  the monthly and quarterly  progress reports
  • Identify and document success stories and case studies on key aspects of the project.
  • Support the M&E Specialist in the collection of additional information from the field if and when required.
  • Willingness to travel regional offices for data validation
  • Perform any other official task assigned by the management.

REQUIREMENTS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum Qualification BS (Social Science) or Masters (Social Science)
  • Minimum Experience will be 3 Years in related field.
  • Required advanced level of English, reading, writing for drafting of various reports, also knowledge of Urdu and Sindhi. 
  • Creative, energetic, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Good computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint)
  • Demonstrated flexibility, motivation, and maturity
  • Willingness to work and live in harsh conditions.
