JOB SUMMARY

This is a full-time, permanent post reporting to the Managing Director and Director Business Development – HR Consultants Pvt LTD – Pakistan.

The position is located at HR Karachi Office – DHA 6. The post holder will be responsible to market and promote HR Panel Universities and will conduct outreach, relationship building, follow-up, and data capture activities in coordination with the overall admissions team. The post holder will play a strategic role in recognizing the vision of the HR by fostering strong relationships with target Institutions and audiences within Pakistan. The post holder will work with team to develop strategies in order to meet the University's enrolment, recruitment and admissions goals.

This position holder travels throughout the year if needed and extensively to schools, fairs, and conferences, and coordinates its team to provide personalized services and guidance to the students in various stages of application process. Position serves up to 300-500 applicants annually and will convert 200 students for the spring, Summer & Fall of each year.

TARGETS NOT LIMITED BUT MINIMUM WITH 15-20% INCREASE EACH YEAR

  1. Australia 50 students in minimum 2 intakes July and Feb (April and October as well)
  2. UK – 50 students Intakes January and September major Intakes (April and July intakes also)
  3. Malaysia – 50 Students (4 Intakes)
  4. Canada/USA – 20 Students each
  5. Others 30
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Representation of HR to prospective students at schools, colleges, events and fairs (school visits, college fairs, open houses, information sessions across Pakistan.
  • Develop and cultivate positive and productive relationships with students, parents and college counselors/career advisors in high schools with the goal of promoting serious interest in Universities on HR Panel by highly qualified students, strategically growing nomination and application pools.
  • Play a strategic role in the achievement of University enrollment targets by encouraging qualified students to apply to HR Partnered Institutes (Universities).
  • Execute overall outreach to schools and students in Karachi and Sind area.
  • Continually assess effectiveness of outreach in key Karachi markets. Play a lead role as the visible representative of HR Manager in this strategic area, in collaboration with other team members. Analyze trends in enrollment and engage with senior leadership to influence the direction of the student body that International Universities will enroll.
  • Make recommendations to Managing Director and Director Business Development with regard to new initiatives, territories, and strategies.
  • Oversee compilation of weekly and monthly reports of Team under your command on activities, including number and type of events organized/attended; number and type of students, parents, school officials, etc. contacted. Use a combination of Microsoft Office applications and web-based applications for these reports.
  • In conjunction with Director Business Development, develop strategies and initiatives that enhance admissions strategies, establish targets, and ensure admissions criteria are met in order to meet the vision of International Universities and the HR.
  • Manage a robust counselor relations program through which college counselors (high school guidance officers) gain additional exposure to information, students, and impact of International Universities,. Coordinate planning and logistics for regional outreach events including invitations, agenda development and materials. Attend and present in these receptions and information sessions.
  • Arrange special events that include of the Company, such as visits, gatherings with large groups of students, and meetings with high school counselors in a region.
  • Market International Universities and attain increasing exposure in most competitive schools in the Karachi (Sind) , as well as those which send students.
  • Play a leading role for above activities of a team of staff under him and setting targets with each staff member to achieve above target.

IMPORTANT

  • Hire, Recruit and manage staffing for the office and taking full role to keep the team and administrative role of HR DHA Office from recruitment to day to day operation. Meet the above targets with the team members as per above job description.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Outstanding Communication, Interpersonal and Public Speaking Skills
  • Ability to market International Universities on HR Panel independently and knowledgably, providing an understanding of Business, Accounts, Engineering and Law education to an audience that is unfamiliar with the model and provide leadership within a time frame.
  • Ability to work extensively. Extensive work during fall and spring and weekend hours required.
  • Experience and ability with word processing, spreadsheet.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Knowledge and Understanding of UK, Australia, Malaysia and North America education system.
  • Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with range of external organizations.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Ensure that office operations align with the organization's mission, strategic objectives and policies. Specific duties include managing staff, overseeing marketing and operations. Ensure that the organization follows laws and regulations. Liaising with management at the corporate office and provide reports on activities. Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various departments in the organization. Overall position is to play leading role for the development of HR operation in Karachi Region.
