Project Background

The Government of Pakistan has designed and initiated a six-year project titled "Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Irrigated Agriculture Improvement Project (KP-IAIP)" through the PIU KP- IAIP Directorate General OFWM Agriculture Department. KP-IAIP is aligned with the National Water Policy and the KP Agriculture Policy and Strategy (2015 -25) and aims “to improve the performance of irrigated agriculture on smallholder farms in its implementation area”. The key objectives will be achieved through a) improving on-farm water management system by upgrading watercourses, introducing advanced irrigation technologies, and strengthening capacity of communities, farmers, and OFWM staff; and b) increasing agriculture productivity as well as promoting agro-processing and value addition.

Qualification Requirements	At least a Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field. At least 5 years’ experience of working as Data Analyst or BI (Business Intelligence) Expert in large software projects, or organizations. ".
Job description	Proven Experience in using data analytics tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, OBIEE etc) and using other qualitative and quantitative tools for data analysis. Hands-on experience of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others) required. Knowledge and experience on software development environments and languages, relational databases, TOAD, SQL Server, Oracle. SQL knowledge as well as an understanding of database structure is required. Data management experience with one or more data analysis packages (e.g. R, SPSS, SAS, STATA) will be preferred; Knowledge of at least one ETL tool (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, etc.) In-depth understanding of national statistical system (census data and civil registrations) and national representative surveys (e.g HIES, PSLM, PDHS, NNS etc.) Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy."
