Main responsibilities:

1. Processing invoices keeping accurate records for all daily transactions.
2. Preparing balance sheets and processing invoices.
3. Record accounts payable, and accounts receivable & update internal systems with financial data.
4. Ensure the correct allocation of income and expenditures to relevant programs and projects
5. Ensure the closing of books of accounts monthly.
6. Reviewing the books of accounts on monthly basis to ensure the complete picture of the financial position and avoid any deviation from budget or standards.
7. Checking and authorizing payment vouchers as per the authority matrix.
8. Monitoring the timely disbursement of payments and managing the availability of funds.
9. Monitoring the accounts payable and analysis and follow up on payables and their aging.
10.  Approving payment vouchers as per the authority matrix
11.   Monitoring timely deposits in bank accounts.
12.   Ensuring the preparation of Bank Reconciliation statements on monthly basis.
13.   Analysis and follow-up on receivables and their aging.
14. Any other task that is assigned by organization.

Skill Set:

1. Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
2. Experience using financial software
3. Advanced MS Excel skills
4. Excellent analytical and numerical skills
5. Sharp time management skills.

Experience:

1. BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
2. At least 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
3. Experience of working with NGOs/donor agencies/Multinational organizations.
