Main responsibilities: 

• Train applicants on how to operate a sewing machine (basic sewing machine use and basic machine maintenance) and provide instructions on sewing skills. 
• Provide instruction and demonstration on the use of clothing items and different types of fabrics. 
• Maintain a safe and effective teaching/learning environment during the sessions.
• Provide and work on course outline, schemes of work, and lesson plans. 
• Prepare classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts and set up the room before each class. 
• Identify students with special requirements and create individualized plans
• Ability to express self clearly and concisely.
• Facilitate learning activities so that students learn the principles, theory, skills, and work ethic necessary to become proficient in the relevant field.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum Intermediate education required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in the relevant field.
