Background

Associates in Development Pvt. Ltd. (AiD) is a Pakistan-based development and management consulting company which provides high-quality consulting services in the core areas of 1) Social Sectors; 2) Engineering & Infrastructure; and 3) Environment and Climate Change.

AiD has received USAID’s award for the Economic Recovery and Development Activity (ERDA), which is a five-year project designed to expand economic opportunities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including in Newly Merged Districts (NMDs). ERDA will promote sustainable economic growth by improving agriculture sector capacity and supporting allied MSMEs in the non-agriculture sectors.

Qualification Requirements	An advanced degree from an accredited university in a relevant discipline Ten (10) or more years of experience managing multi-year development programs preferably in conflict affected areas in sectors such as economic growth, agriculture development, private sector led development and enterprise development Five (05) or more years of supervisory experience, with at least 3-5 years of experience as a DCOP or a similar leadership role with experience training staff and attending to staff care issues Direct knowledge and experience of performance evaluation and monitoring systems A strong understanding of both Implementing Partner and USAID policies and procedures with regards to financial management, financial reporting, procurement processes and systems for adhering to USAID awards The incumbent will have a strong understanding of integrating gender equality and women’s empowerment into participatory community development programs. Proven experience directly collaborating with donor and host country government representatives Demonstrated interpersonal skills including diplomacy, tact, and the ability to negotiate Strong communication skills with a proven ability to distill and convey key messages that resonate with stakeholders, partners, beneficiaries and a wide range of audiences, including individuals and organizations Exceptional written and spoken English Strong computer skills.
Job description	Full time staff member stationed at Peshawar project office who will report directly to the Chief of Party. The DCOP will be responsible for effective management of program, administration, and operations. The scope of the responsibilities of DCOP will also include management of human resources, finance and subcontracts. The DCOP will also ensure timely completion and submission of all program deliverables, including donor reporting. The DCOP will assume the responsibilities of the COP during his absence.
