Background:

The Legal Aid Society (LAS) is a not-for-profit organization working on its mission to connect vulnerable & disempowered end users of justice with effective and expedient services for justice delivery. LAS’s interventions have been aimed at increasing access to justice for poor & marginalized communities, particularly women, across the province of Sindh and at the Federal level.

In line with the mission of expediting justice delivery, LAS is implementing a project to strengthen the State’s response to sexual violence.

LAS initiated the project to provide technical assistance to the Government of Sindh in improving Criminal Justice System (CJS) Actors’ response to sexual violence and to enhance coordination between stakeholders.

Project Activities:

1. 3-day Training of Selected LAS-Trained Gender Trainers on Techniques to Interview Survivors of SGBV

 Scope of Work:

The consultant will provide specialized training to LAS-trained gender trainers on victim-sensitive interviewing techniques.

 Deliverables:

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in law, gender studies, social work, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in providing training on gender-based violence.
• Expertise in victim-sensitive interviewing techniques and legal proceedings related to GBV cases.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Prior experience working with international organizations or NGOs is preferred.
